Rwanda Inzovu is one of Africa’s most quietly extraordinary coffees, and we’re proud to stock it at Exact Espresso. These Rwandan coffee beans are grown between 1,400 and 1,900 metres in the lush, rolling highlands, where over 35,000 smallholder farmers deliver freshly harvested cherries to more than 40 washing stations. Each batch is fully washed and meticulously hand-graded by the Rwanda Trading Company in Kigali, producing a supremely clean and elegant cup.
Rwanda may be small, but its coffee is mighty. Known for its high-altitude terroir, nutrient-rich volcanic soil, and cool breezes, Rwanda produces some of the most delicately structured and aromatic coffees in the world. This lot of Bourbon and Typica varietals offers an expressive, fruity character that is distinctly Rwandan, refined, bright, and full of nuance.
As a filter coffee, Rwanda Inzovu is refreshing and light, delivering vibrant cranberry notes and gentle citrus taste. Brewed as an espresso, its sweetness intensifies into a crisp, red berry core with a lingering, tea-like finish. Add milk, and the acidity softens to create a clean, smooth cup, which is ideal for cortados or light cappuccinos.
This coffee is roasted to a light-medium level to preserve its delicate structure and ensure that every subtle note shines. It’s a sophisticated, versatile choice for those who appreciate a coffee that is both refined and full of life.

Rwanda Coffee Production
Rwanda’s coffee industry is a remarkable story of resilience and quality. Despite the country’s small size and landlocked geography, Rwandan coffee has earned global acclaim for its clarity, brightness, and lively fruit flavour profile. Grown at high altitudes in fertile volcanic soil, most Rwandan coffee is cultivated by smallholder farmers working with precision and pride.
At Exact Espresso, we source our Rwanda Inzovu beans through trusted suppliers who work directly with these farmers under Fair Trade conditions, ensuring not only exceptional coffee but fair pricing, sustainable practices, and meaningful community support at origin.
