What Is an On-Demand Grinder?
An on-demand coffee grinder only grinds beans when you're ready to make coffee, so right before you extract it. This means your grounds are always fresh, full of flavour, and never sitting around going stale. It also gives you more control over the amount you grind, which is great for avoiding waste and keeping your whole setup clean.
What Is an Auto Coffee Grinder?
An auto coffee grinder (short for automatic grinder) grinds beans in advance and stores the coffee in a built-in chamber, ready to dispense with a simple lever or button. It’s ideal for busy cafés or workplaces where speed matters more than absolute freshness. Just note that pre-ground coffee can lose aroma over time, so it’s better suited to fast-paced higher volume environments.

Burrs
These are the metal discs or cones inside your grinder that do the actual grinding. Flat or conical in shape, burrs crush beans evenly, which is crucial for a balanced, great-tasting espresso. The size and quality of burrs make a big difference in performance.
Hopper
This is the container on top of your grinder that holds whole coffee beans. Hopper sizes vary, some hold enough for a few drinks, others enough for a very busy service but they all feed beans into the burrs as needed.

F4 Series – For Light Commercial Use or Home Speciality Beans
The F4 range is available in two models: On-Demand and Auto. The On-Demand model comes with a digital display for grind dose control, counters, and adjustment. The Auto model includes an integrated dispenser.

Every Fracino grinder comes with a 12-month parts warranty (domestic use only). Machines are professionally tested before dispatch, ensuring the highest quality standards.
We ship across the UK and all Fracino orders are sold on a pro forma basis. Once payment is received, please allow 5–7 working days for build and dispatch. Some models may be in stock for faster delivery!
