San Rafael, from Costa Rica’s revered Tarrazú region, is a standout Costa Rican coffee we’re honoured to bring to our collection. Grown between 1,280 and 1,800 metres above sea level in the Area of the Saints, these Strictly Hard Beans (SHB) thrive in volcanic soil under near-perfect conditions. A meticulously washed process and slow patio drying bring clarity, structure, and silky balance to the cup.

This lot blends Caturra and Catuai varietals, producing a poised, luxurious espresso with rich plum sweetness and dark chocolate depth. With a roast level of 7/10, San Rafael is a smooth, medium-dark roast that delivers elegance without compromise.

Brewed as espresso, it offers a clean, confident crema and a well-rounded finish. With milk, it transforms, unveiling cocoa softness and creamy plum undertones. For filter lovers, it remains bold yet polished, a showcase of Costa Rica Tarrazú’s extraordinary terroir and precision processing.
